Blindspot’s been going for just over 7 years now; obviously we’ve been around a bit longer. We’ve developed skills and experience by the shed-load, from writing leaflets and organising print to designing websites and creating new brands.
Being a small business, we know all about the joys and challenges of running one. That’s why we tend to work with SMEs and start-ups, likeminded people who have an idea and are making it happen.
Based in Pontcanna, Cardiff, we’re near the greenery and tranquillity of Llandaff fields and next door to cafes for meetings, tea and cake. If you’d like to chat about a project, get in touch.

As founder, I set up Blindspot with the aim of creating great work for great people.
I try not to over complicate design and the creative process. I enjoy helping organisations convey their story and finding new ways to keep their customers happy.
Downtime involves football (playing and watching), music (playing and listening) and oaky riojas (supping).
I first came to Wales when I was twelve on a family trip to the Alternative Technology Centre. I learnt to make nettle compost and began my lifelong addiction to Welsh cakes.
Six years later I was back to read English Literature at Cardiff University, subsequently working in design agencies. I’ve played a leading role in the strategy and delivery of many high-profile projects: devising mixed-media activity campaigns for Wales Tourist Board, managing the Design Commission for Wales Design Review Book and the Wales re-brand.
At Blindspot I provide the words: brochures, straplines, adverts, websites, you name it I write it. I help clients define their brand language and establish an appropriate tone of voice. For your customers, how you sound could be just as important as how you look. I also manage projects on a day-to-day basis and ensure everything runs smoothly. I research, work up budgets and manage print production.
My study and work has always involved creativity and when I’m not doing that I’m running, reading or, you guessed it, whipping up a batch of Welsh cakes.
